Free community shredding event – Howard County, Md

Shred day -paper clutter pic2Howard County, Md. residents will have the opportunity to get rid of some of their paper clutter at the next free shredding event on Saturday, Oct. 17.  This  event, which typically takes place twice a year, will be held at the Long Gate Park & Ride from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Long Gate Park & Ride is behind the Target & Barnes & Noble Long Gate Shopping Center, off Rt. 100 (exit 1A), .

Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes of paper to be shredded.  This event will be held rain or shine.  Visit this page: Howard county Maryland paper shredding for information on what they will or will not accept.

When:  Saturday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (rain or shine)
Where: Long Gate Park & Ride (exit 1A off of Route 100), Ellicott City, Md.
Cost:    Free.
Limit:  3 bags or boxes of material
